Adani Group Gets License For Telecom Service; May Expand 5G Services

New Delhi, 12th October 2022: Adani Data Networks Limited (ADNL) has been granted a Unified License for the Accessibility Services. The company can now provide all types of telecom services in the country.

 

Now, after receiving the license, the company can expand its 5G services in the future.

 

An official source in this regard said, “Adani Data Networks has got the UL (AS) license.” Another official said that the license was issued on Monday. However, there has been no official statement from the Adani group yet.

 

The Adani Group bought spectrum in a recently held auction and entered the telecom sector. The company said that it would use this spectrum for business activities within the group.

 

ADNL had bought 400 MHz spectrum in the recently held 5G spectrum auction for Rs 212 crore for 20 years.

 

Adani Group’s entry to the telecome market will result in a huge competition between companies like Jio, Airtel, Vodafone -Idea.
