AEROBATICS DISPLAY BY SARANG TEAM AT AIR FORCE STATION LOHEGAON

The “Brand Ambassadors of Indian Air Force”, Sarang Helicopter display team will perform Aerobatics Display followed by Static Display at Air Force Station Pune on 05 Jun 16. The team flies indigenously designed and developed Advanced Light Helicopters (ALH) also known as ‘Dhruv’, in four Helicopters display profiles. Sarang team has performed at various national and international venues and has earned rave review from the audience.

The Sarang team is proud to be performing at Pune, the capital of the great Maratha Empire and academic capital of the country, having number of academic institutes in various disciplines. Keeping in mind the dream of large number of youths aspiring to join Armed Forces, the team, will showcase a glimpse of life in the Indian Air Force. It is the endeavour of the team to live up to the unit’s motto “Inspire through Excellence” and motivate the youth of the nation to consider a career in the illustrious Armed Forces.

The display is open for personnel and families of armed forces, Paramilitary Forces, Police, other Defence Establishments and school children. Entry to the Air base would be on production of valid ID proof. Personnel desirous of witnessing the display are to reach Air Force Station, Lohegaon main gate by 0900 hrs. They are not to carry mobile phones, electronic media or devices, handbags, etc. Personnel from the Armed forces, Paramilitary Forces, Police are to be in uniform. The event would commence from 0930 hrs and culminate at 1100 hrs.  Entry would be closed at 0915 hrs.
