Pune, March 19 – A 65 year old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping from seventh floor of a housing society in Kondhwa on Saturday morning.

Before that he had allegedly killed his grandson by strangulating him.

“He had a shop in Shirur and shifted to Pune about a year ago to stay with his son who is engaged in real estate business. In the suicide note Sudhir stated that he was fed up with the land case and was ending his life instead of staying here and there for few more years. Also his grandson had some heart problem and had undergone surgery few years back. He was very attached to his grandson. Therefore he was taking away Jinay with him,” Inspector Mokashi told Punekar News.
