Afternoon Siesta, BJP’s Chandrakant Patil Comments On Puneites Habit

Pune, October 24, 2020: Commenting on the habit of Puneites to keep the businesses shut from 1 pm to 4 pm in the afternoon, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president and Kothrud assembly constituency MLA Chandrakant Patil said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi works 22 hours a day.

While talking at an online program in Pimpri Chinchwad, Patil said, “We have been told that not to do any work during 1 pm to 4 pm in the afternoon in Pune.”

He further said, “We need to set our own targets. People have elected us to do work. Look at Modi, he works 22 hours a day. He doesn’t care much about the criticism. Few people criticized him for his work in Ayodhya, suggested to conduct e-pooja, but he went there and came back. While sleeping at night we should have the satisfaction of completing the task.”
