Air Conditioners of Aquarium At JM Road Catches Fire, No Injuries Reported
Pune 31st July 2023: A fire was reported inside two Air Conditioner (AC) of the aquarium located at Sambhaji Garden on JM Road on Sunday night. The incident was reported at around 8:30 pm to the fire brigade team.
The Pune Municipal Corporation’s fire brigade team was immidiately rushed to the spot and identified two Air Conditioners that caught fire. Due to smoke the fire brigade teams were finding it difficult to enter inside the aquarium. However, the fire fighting personnel later entered wearing Breathing Apparatus Set (BA Set) that is used to to provide clean air to breathe in hazardous environments and the fire was brought under control within 15 minutes.
No injuries or casualty was reported in the incident. The fire brigade officials are yet to ascertain the cause of fire.
