AIR MARSHAL JAGJEET SINGH VISITS 9 BASE REPAIR DEPOT INDIAN AIR FORCE

The Air Mshl was received by Air Commodore Sanjay Kumar, Air Officer Commanding, 9 BRD AF. After arrival, he was briefed by the AOC on the role and achievements of this Depot. During his visit, the Air Mshl laid the foundation stone of 9 BRD Officers’ Mess. Later, a voluminous Handbook on “Development of Test Programme Suite (TPS) Technology of Future” was released by Air Marshal Jagjeet Singh VSM ADC, AOC-in-C HQ MC, IAF. The book has been edited by Air Cmde Sanjay Kumar. This book will serve as a ready reference and guide for engineers and technicians of Indian Air Force to understand the intricacies of complex process involved in Test Programme Suite (TPS) development. The book has been result of relentless Research & Development efforts towards reverse engineering of Printed Circuit Boards of Russian and Western Origins.

The Air Mshl interacted with all the Officers, Technicians, Civilians and Key Personnel of the Depot over a cup of tea organised by the Station. He appreciated the excellent work done by the Depot personnel under the dynamic leadership of Air Commodore Sanjay Kumar, Air Officer Commanding, 9 BRD AF and encouraged all to strive continuously towards excellence and keep driving through cutting edge technology with undying flame of innovation.
