Amanora Park Town gets another feather in the cap

Pune, March 21: Adding yet another feather to its cap, Amanora Park Town has recently bagged the award for ‘Best Smart Grid Pilot Project in India’ by India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF). Amanora has adopted Smart Grid Solution which is an electricity supply network that uses digital communications technology to detect and react to local changes in usage.

Amanora Park Town is the very first private organization to bag this award from ISGF. Pradeep Mishra AGM (Electrical) Amanora Park Town received this award at the hands of Desh Deepak Verma, Chairman of UP Electricity Regulatory Commission and Reji Kumar, Chairman of ISGF during a ceremonious event held in Delhi recently.

ISGF is a Public Private Partnership initiative of Ministry of Power (MoP), Government of India for accelerated development of smart grid technologies in the Indian power sector. The jury panel for this competition included eminent personalities like former power secretary P Uma Shankar, Advisor, Ministry of Power, Ashok Jhunjhunwala, Chairman and former MD of Power Finance Corporation MK Goyal.

By winning this award out of 160 entries from all over the country, Amanora Park Town has once again proved itself a player standing in a different league by bringing new technology and innovative solutions to its customers. This award was a recognition towards the efforts taken by Amanora Park Town for providing fast and transparent service to its consumers.

With the help of Smart Grid Project Amanora Park Town successfully provides uninterrupted power supply grid to its consumers with minimum transmission and distribution losses. In doing so, it also uses Information Technology, Smart monitoring system, Smart prepaid metering system and Scada grid monitoring smart substation to reduce the losses in electricity transmission and distribution. This helps them to provide more efficient service and clean, uninterrupted Power to its consumers.
