Apple’s India-Made Exports Skyrocket 30%, Shattering Records!”Within 10 Months
Mumbai, 11th February 2025: iPhone exports from India have reached the summit of breaking records within 10 months. iPhone exports grew higher in the last financial year 2023-24, crossing 76000 crore devices exported and 19000 crore iPhones exported singularly only in January 2025.
Under the PLI (Production Linked Incentive) scheme, Apple’s export figures rose rapidly being the all-time high export figure. India is all set in the waves of achievement in electronics and information technology. Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaihnaw, posted on X on Monday that iPhone exports worth 1 lakh crore were made in the first 10 months. This growth is commendable in the manufacturing and electronic exporting sector of
the country as the iPhone breaks its record for exports from India. India, with the second largest export market of smartphones, is crossing 1 lakh crore export value during the first 10 months of the financial year 2014-25. In the Indian mobile market where a billion mobile phones are in use, the iPhone made a record of being the
top-selling model in the October-December period. It turned out to be the top 5 smartphone player in the race and shared a 10 percent market share.
Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook said that we have had great results in many emerging markets, and as you know from the previous call, we are particularly keen on India. India has set a December-quarter record during this quarter and we are opening more stores there. We have announced that we are going to open four new stores there. The opening of four new stores is a great boost for financially increasing milestones in the coming years. Not just the iPhone but iPad, an Apple
product registered an equally impressive share growth.
