Army Southern Command felicitates Corona Warriors of Pune Cantonment Board
Camp, May 29, 2020: Lieutenant General DS Ahuja, Chief of Staff, Headquarters Southern Command felicitated the Corona Warriors of Pune Cantonment Board (PCB) today. The Indian Army has been applauding efforts of people engaged in fight against Coronavirus pandemic.
The General Officer, lauded the doctors, nurses, health workers, and staff of PCB for their selfless dedication and outstanding contribution in treatment of Covid-19 patients. The PCB hospital has treated around 250 Covid-19 cases with 150 being discharged after completion of treatment. In addition they are also running two quarantine facilities with 200 bed capacity.
Lieutenant General DS Ahuja applauded the entire team of PCB for working round the clock and said that pandemics like these teach us the value of humanity while undertaking care of each other. Groceries were also distributed to the needy and under privileged residing in the areas under PCB to support them during the Covid-19 pandemic.
