Mumbai, January 18, 2021: Republic TV editor has responded to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan, who made statements against India by resorting to Arnab Goswami’s WhatsApp chat leak controversy. Arnab Goswami has surrounded Imran Khan and has also given clarification on the allegations that he was already aware of the Balakot airstrike.

Describing Imran Khan as a puppet of the ISI in a terrorist country, Arnab Goswami has said that the desire to retaliate to Pakistan after the Pulwama attack was officially evident. There was no doubt in the mind of any Indian nationalist that we would answer back, and so we did.

In a statement released by the channel, Arnab Goswami said, “Imran Khan tried to refuse to accept Balakot but later he had to accept that Balakot was not a ‘false flag’ operation, it was a direct and necessary response to Pakistani terrorism.” Arnab also said that every Indian wanted revenge after the Pulwama terror attack, so asking questions through some Indian media houses against Republic TV is opportunism.

Arnab Goswami also alleged that some media channels have become the forces of ISI and Imran Khan to oppose Republic. He accused Pakistan of plotting against Republic TV, saying that if the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Ministry of External Affairs have come out in support of the malicious action of the police, there is nothing left to say.

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has vented his anger on India by resorting to Arnab Goswami’s viral chat. Imposing Balakot Airstrike in Goswami’s purported chat, Imran Khan took it as an opportunity to attack the Indian government and accused the Modi government of promoting terrorism. Imran Khan tweeted and alleged that the Modi government took electoral advantage through the Balakot attack and threw the area into the fire of conflict.
Imran Khan made several tweets in a sequential manner.

Imran Khan, citing one of his speeches in the United Nations General Assembly in 2019, alleged that the Modi government used Balakot for its domestic electoral gains. He further said that the chat revelations of an Indian journalist reveal an unholy nexus between the Modi government and the Indian media which led to the entire area being burnt in the fire of military struggle to win the election.
