Ashwin Megha elected as new President of SEAP
Pune, August 10, 2019 : Ashwin Megha, Chief Operating Officer at ForgeAhead Solutions has been elected as a new President of Software Exporters Association of Pune (SEAP) for the 2 year tenure of 2019-21. The association has elected Vidyadhar Purandare, Lead Admin Compliance & telecom (PAN India) at Persistent Systems Ltd appointed as Vice President, Swapnil Deshpande, Head, product innovation and incubation at ThoughtWorks as a secretary and Anand Ranade as Treasurer. The executive council of SEAP will comprise of Sameer Soman, S. Ramaprasad, Abhijeet Atre, Nitin Deshpande, Parag Barve, Prashant K. S, Ashutosh Parasnis and Radhika Tharoor.
This was announced in the Annual General Meeting of the association held at Hotel Sheraton Grand on Friday, August 9, 2019 where dignitaries including Ravi Sundaram founder, Mercuri Goldmann India, Ashutosh Desai, consultant Trainer, Mercuri Goldmann India and Actor/Director, Nagraj Manjule were also present.
SEAP was formed as an association of Software Exporters of Pune in 1998. The focus was to interact with various government agencies and provide member software companies the needed support for establishing efficient operations. SEAP works closely with various government agencies to provide policy inputs as well as discussing broader issues faced by member companies.
Chief Operating Officer at Forgeahead Solutions, Megha helped nurtured the SEAP PuneConnect startup showcase event, which has become a great platform for startups to share their capabilities to take it forward.He holds an engineering degree in Computer Science from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune and an MBA from University of Pune.
During a presentation, Ravi Sundaram founder, Mercuri Goldmann India, shared ideas to improve businesses. He shared knowledge on how to break with customers and target the right prospects and collect info and explore gaps while doing business. He said that fanatical prospecting is vital and a key to build businesses and salesmanship is all about conversation which should be valuable, joint and relevant.
