Ayurvedic immunity boosters introduced by Vishwawati Research Centre

Pune, June 12, 2020: Shri Vishwavati Ayurvedic Chikitsalaya and Research Centre has introduced Ayurvedic medicines ‘Madhav Rasayan’ and ‘Ras Madhav Vati’ that would help boost immunity against bacterial and viral infections. These medicines were opened for public use by Vaidya Sameer Jamadagni, as the world continues to fight Coronavirus.

 

The medicine comprises medicinal plants that help fight bacteria/viruses, and strengthen physical immunity. The medicine has been created under the guidance of Vaidya Jamadagni, by Dr Prasad Pandkar, Dr Shailesh Malekar, Dr Girish Shirke, Dr Tushar Saundankar, Dr Sagar Kaware and Dr Rahul Shelar.

“The medicines are very useful against several viral/bacterial infection symptoms like cold, cough, body ache, fatigue, etc. Moreover, they help purify the blood, support the respiratory system, and improve digestion, all of which help improve immunity,” Dr Rahul Shelar said.

 

The medicines have been provided to several government officials and others working under essential services in Pune, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Solapur, etc. by the Shri Sadguru Vishwanath Maharaj Rukadikar Trust.

“We have tested all the components of the medicine for its utility and other effects. We also have all the documentation of the research that we did to claim the medicines to be immunity boosters. Also, we have kept track of how the medicines helped the essential workers that we have distributed the medicines to,” Dr Shelar added.

Anandnath Sangavadekar of the Trust and Niranjandas Sangavadekar of the research centre was also present on the occasion. Vaidya Jamadagni spoke about ‘Ayurved and Infectious Diseases’ over Facebook Live. Dr Girish Shirke gave information about the Trust and the research centre, while Dr Pandkar spoke about the research in Ayurveda.
