BAI Pune to Host Seminar on Real Estate Development and Self-Redevelopment on June 13

Pune, 7th June 2025: The Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Pune Centre, is organizing a half-day seminar titled “Real Estate Development and Self Redevelopment Projects: How They Are Shaping Our Cities?” on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Vishnukrupa Hall, Shaniwar Peth, Pune. The event aims to provide an in-depth perspective on the evolution of urban development through the lens of MAHARERA’s initiatives and policy frameworks.
The seminar will bring together key stakeholders, including builders, developers, civil contractors, architects, structural consultants, MEP experts, government contractors, and housing societies, to engage in a meaningful dialogue around contemporary real estate practices and regulations.
The central theme of the seminar revolves around the transformative impact of Real Estate Development and Self-Redevelopment Projects on urban landscapes. It will also provide comprehensive updates on MAHARERA’s evolution from MAHAIT to MAHACRITI 2025, ensuring all stakeholders stay informed about QPR compliance, extensions, corrections, lapsed projects, and abeyance cases.
The event will be graced by Shri Gautam Chatterjee (IAS), Chairman of the Griharamya Redevelopment Stakeholders Federation (GRSF) and past Chairman of MahaRERA (2017-21), and Shri Prakash Sabale, Secretary, MahaRERA, as the chief guests. Shri Chatterjee will also deliver the keynote address, sharing his insights on self-redevelopment and the role of GRSF in Maharashtra.
The seminar is open to all stakeholders, but pre-registration is mandatory by June 11, 2025. There is no registration fee, but seats are limited.
