Bajaj Finserv and Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance announce 10th Pune Batch of CPBFI

· CPBFI is a customised certificate programme aimed at making graduates employable for financial services
· Batch starts from January 4, 2018
· Training by Symbiosis, fees subsidized by Bajaj Finserv as part of its CSR initiative

December 27, 2017, Pune: Bajaj Finserv Limited (BFS), one of the leading financial services companies in India, in partnership with Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance (SSBF), Pune, is starting the 10th batch of its Certificate Programme in Banking, Finance and Insurance (CPBFI) in Pune. CPBFI is designed for graduates aspiring for careers in Banking, finance and Insurance companies.

Bajaj Finserv and SSBF have conducted nine batches of CPBFI and the students have found jobs in leading banks, insurance and other financial services companies. Admissions for the tenth batch are currently open and the classes will start from January 4, 2017 at the English Language Training Institute of Symbiosis (ELTIS) in Model Colony. Out of the gross fee of Rs. 21, 240 (including GST), students need to pay only Rs. 7,000, rest being paid by Bajaj Finserv from its CSR funds. Fresh graduates and final year students are eligible for this program.

Talking about the initiative Mr. Ajay Sathe, Head – CSR, Bajaj Finserv said “With a large employee base of over 20,000 employees, Bajaj Finserv and its subsidiaries have an understanding of the skill gaps amongst fresh graduates and the acute shortage of talent faced by the industry. We have developed this programme as a bridge between college and industry, wherein the graduates can acquire knowledge and skills required by the industry. The focus is on preparing the graduates for a career and not just for a job.”

The programme offers a combination of industry knowledge (about banks, non-banking finance companies and life & general insurance companies) and soft skills, mainly communication skills, preparing the participants to step into the financial industry. The students can also experience the entire recruitment process from selection of an advertisement to the job interview, during the HR workshop conducted by the HR team from Bajaj Finserv.
