Banaras–Pune Amrit Bharat Express Now Daily: 30-Hour Journey, Bookings Open

Pune/Varanasi, 30th April 2026: Indian Railways has regularised the Banaras–Hadapsar (Pune) Amrit Bharat Express as a daily service following its inaugural run earlier this week. The train will now operate with confirmed schedules, halts, journey duration and advance booking availability.
The train will originate from Varanasi and terminate at Hadapsar in Pune, covering the distance in approximately 30 hours. It will depart from Varanasi in the evening and arrive at Hadapsar late at night on the following day. The return service from Pune will follow a similar duration and schedule.
The service will halt at 18 stations en route, including Gyanpur Road, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Govindpuri, Orai, Jhansi, Bina, Bhopal (Rani Kamlapati), Narmadapuram, Itarsi, Harda, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Manmad, Kopargaon, Ahilyanagar, Daund and Hadapsar.
Advance reservation has opened through the Indian Railways booking system, including online platforms and reservation counters. The train comprises non-AC General and Sleeper class coaches, with fares aligned to Mail/Express category pricing.
