Baner: Pune Police Bust Prostitution Racket At A Massage Center
Pune, February 10, 2021: The social security cell (SSC) of Pune city police have exposed the prostitution racket operating in a posh locality of Baner. The sex trade was started under the name of the massage centre. Police have rescued three young women while the woman manager has been arrested from Aaraya Spa and Salon.
The action was taken by the police on Tuesday evening. A case has been registered against Maya (29) and Neetu Rosha at Chatushrungi police station.
Acting on a tip-off, a team led by Police Inspector Angha Deshpande raided the massage centre located in a bungalow behind Hotel Sadanand on February 9. Three girls from Manipur, Meghalaya and Mizoram were rescued, while the manager was arrested. The owner of the massage centre has escaped.
The action was taken under the guidance of DCP (Crime Branch) Bachchan Singh. The team included Police Sub Inspector Shridhar Khadke and police personnel Rajendra Kumawat, Anna Mane, Santosh Bhandwalkar, Rajshri Mohite and Manisha Pukale.
