Bank of Maharashtra bags Prestigious Award from IDRBT
Bank of Maharashtra has bagged the prestigious award in the 12th “Banking Technology Excellence Awards 2015 -16” organized by Institute for Development & Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), which is established by RBI.
Bank of Maharashtra has been awarded as the ‘Best Bank among Mid Sized Banks’ in the category -“Use of Technology for Financial Inclusion”. Dr. Raghuram G. Rajan, Governor, Reserve Bank of India handed over the coveted award to Shri. Sushil Muhnot, Chairman and Managing Director, Bank of Maharashtra at a function held at IDRBT, Hyderabad on 18th July, 2016. This is the THIRD consecutive time Bank of Maharashtra has been winning the IDRBT Banking Technology Award in different areas of technology initiatives.
While congratulating all his employees who have continuously worked towards serving all segments of the society, Shri. Sushil Muhnot, Chairman and Managing Director, Bank of Maharashtra said, “We are honoured to receive this award from the Reserve Bank of India and proud to be consistently contributing towards the national agenda of promoting financial inclusion.
