Bank of Maharashtra commences Mobile ATM service for Punjab and Chandigarh

Mobile Micro ATM facility has been launched by Bank of Maharashtra Chandigarh Zone on Saturday to provide doorstep banking facilities to the citizens. This facility was inaugurated by Shri S.S. Gupta DGM, RBI Chandigarh in the presence of Shri Divesh Dinkar, ZM, Chandigarh Zone and Shri A. K. Gupta, DZM, Chandigarh Zone.

The facility was commenced by effecting payment to the senior citizens Shri Kishori Lal Jain and Shri Rajinder Manocha at sector 17-C branch and then the mobile van carrying the micro ATM ( 3 machines ) was flagged off for the village  Bareli,  Sub-Tehsil Barwala, Haryana and their the staff made payments to the villagers. The 77 transactions took place on the day by this Micro ATM machine.

Two another mobile Micro ATM vans will provide services to different rural areas of Punjab and Chandigarh from Monday.

The DGM of RBI Shri S.S. Gupta congratulated the Bank and its staff for providing better services to the common man especially in the rural areas. The Zonal Manager Shri Dinkar expressed gratitude to RBI, Chandigarh for their effective cash management in the area.
