Pune, 7th October 2021: Baramati-Pune-Baramati non-stop state transport (ST) bus service, which has been closed for the last several months, will now resume operations from Monday. The bus will leave every half an hour from 6 am to 9 pm.

Apart from this, shuttle services to Baramati-Jejuri-Baramati, Baramati-Nira-Baramati, Baramati-Phaltan Baramati, Baramati-Bhigwan-Baramati, Baramati-Walchandnagar-Baramati, Baramati -MIDC-Baramati, Baramati-Supa-Baramati will also start regularly from 7 am.

The number of ST buses has been increased from the depot of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC), informed the depot head Amol Gonzari.

The ST had suffered tremendous losses due to the lockdown during the Coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic period. The ST’s condition had deteriorated due to continuous shutdowns.

Now the state government has allowed MSRTC to carry passengers full capacity with all the necessary precautions. As the Baramati-Pune railway service is closed, the number of ST passengers is now increasing.
