Begum Parveen Sultana Reigned over the Audience at the 69th Sawai

Pune 16th December 2023: The doyenne of Hindustani classical vocals, Padmashree Begum Parveen Sultana reigned over the audience with her stupendous performance concluding the 4th day of the 69th Sawai Gandharv Bhimsen Mahotsav being held at Maharashtriya Mandal Krida Sankul, Mukund Nagar, Pune.

Captivating the audience with her unique style Begum Parveen Sultana began her performance with a Vilambit Bandish ‘Sagun Vichar’ in Raag Rageshree. She concluded the day with her much loved ‘Bhavani Dayani’ in Raag Mishr-Bhairavi

She was accompanied by Shrinivas Acharya on Harmonium, Pt. Mukundraj Dev on Tabla, Shadab Sultana Khan, Vidya Jayil and Amprapali Tambe on Tanpura.
