Big Bazaar encashes on Rs 500, 1000 old notes ban, to remain open till 11.50 pm tonight
Pune – At a time when over a billion people are in hurry to exchange their old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced ban on their circulation post midnight today, one of the biggest retail outlets group Big Bazaar has taken decision to remain open till 11.50 pm tonight.
The company tweeted from its official Twitter handle “For the benefit of the consumer, today our stores will be open till 11.50 pm to help people buy their daily needs.”
Many people questioned this decision whether it is done to encash panic among public who are in hurry to discard their old currency notes.
