Bird trapped in a coconut tree rescued by fire department

Pune : A big thank you to the team of Firefighters who rescued a Kite(bird) trapped in a 0 foot tall Coconut tree.
The bird was tangled in a kite string for more than 15 hours and was desperately trying to free itself. The tree was in between two houses and hence, inaccessible to the fire engine. The firemen carried heavy ladders to the tree and with the help of a long stick broke the string, freeing the bird.
The bird was later collected by a member of the Katraj Sarpodyan animal rescue team.
We appalaud their efforts and thank them for the same.
