Brijmohan Patil Elected President of Pune Union of Working Journalists, Mangesh Phalle As General Secretary
Navi Peth, 29th June 2025: In the annual elections of the Pune Union of Working Journalists (PUWJ) for the term 2025–26, senior journalist Brijmohan Patil (Daily Sakal) has been elected as the new President, while Mangesh Phalle (Daily Divya Marathi) was elected General Secretary and Dilip Tayde (Daily Kesari) as Treasurer.
The election process, held on Sunday, June 29, included voting for key posts such as president, vice president, general secretary, treasurer, secretary, and executive members. The election was conducted under the supervision of Chief Returning Officer Adv. Pratap Pardeshi and Assistant Returning Officer Adv. Swapnil Joshi.
