Bring Dawood Ibrahim to India: Rohit Pawar to PM Modi

Pune, August 23, 2020: As Pakistan itself has admitted that underworld don Dawood Ibrahim is in Pakistan, now bring Dawood to India under any circumstances, demanded Nationalist Congress Party MLA Rohit Pawar. He has made this demand to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Twitter.

“Now that Pakistan has accepted Dawood Ibrahim is indeed in Karachi, I would request Hon’ble PM @narendramodi ji to do everything possible for bringing him to justice. Let’s get him on Indian Soil at any cost”, Pawar tweeted.

Dawood is the mastermind of the Mumbai serial blasts. In these blasts, 257 people lost their lives and around 1400 people were injured. India has asked Pakistan several times to hand over Dawood Ibrahim. But Islamabad has consistently denied that it had given asylum to Dawood. 

Pakistan government has for the first time admitted that Dawood is in Pakistan. The country is struggling to get out of the grey list of the Financial Action Task Force, which monitors international terrorism logistics. Pakistan has imposed sanctions on 88 terrorist organizations and individuals. The list includes the address of Dawood Ibrahim, Hafiz Sayeed, Azhar Masood among others.

Dawood Ibrahim’s address is ‘White House, Near Saudi Mosque, Clifton, Karachi’. India has been claiming that Dawood Ibrahim has been in Pakistan for the last several years. However, Pakistan had rejected the claim. Now, the actions of the Financial Action Task Force have exposed Pakistan’s brass. 

However, the information became public, Pakistan has once again denied that Dawood is present on its land.
