Pune, 4 January 2021: The state-run telecom company BSNL has made changes to its postpaid plans last month. The company brought in new postpaid plans of Rs 199, Rs 798, and Rs 999. Along with this, there was a change in plans of Rs 399 and Rs 525. Here we will compare BSNL’s Rs 399 plan with Jio’s Rs 399 postpaid plan.

BSNL’s 399 plan: The BSNL has named its Rs 399 ‘Ghar Vapasi Plan’ in which customers get 70 GB of data every month. Also, a data rollover facility up to 210 GB has been provided. Apart from this, unlimited calling and 100 SMS are also given on any network. A family add-on is not provided in the plan.

Reliance Jio’s 399 Plan: Like BSNL, Reliance Jio has also provided the same feature in its plan. However, customers get 75 GB of data and up to 200 GB of data rollover every month. Apart from this, unlimited calling and 100 SMS are also available on all networks. No add-on connection was given to customers in this plan of Jio.

What is the difference?

The plans of both companies are almost the same. However, in Jio, you get a Netflix mobile of Rs 199, an Amazon Prime subscription of Rs 999, and a Disney + Hotstar VIP subscription priced at Rs 399 for free. At the same time, BSNL’s plan does not provide any such facility. Apart from this, 5 GB of additional data is also being given in the Jio plan.
