BUDDING GOLFERS COMPETE HARD FOR LODHA BELMONDO Junior Golf League 2019

Pune, 10TH December 2019: Lodha Belmondo saw an exciting day this Saturday where budding golfers from Mumbai & Pune competed hard at the recently concluded at Lodha Belmondo Junior Golf League 2019.

Junior Advait Razdan (Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai) and Yuavan Khubchandan bagged the top honours. The tournament saw 40 junior & budding golfers from premier schools like – Bombay Scottish High School, Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Cathedral & John Connon School, Aditya Birla World Academy & The Bishop’s Co-ed School Pune, across 2 sub-groups, battle it out for rewards worth Rs. 60,000/-, along with individual awards for different categories.

Advait Razdan (Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai) and Yuavan Khubchandani (Cathedral & John Connon School, Mumbai) secured the first and second position respectively in the U-12 category. Jay Pant (Vasant Vihar School, Thane) and Mayara Sharma (The Lexicon International school, Pune) secured first and second position respectively in the U-15 category. The intense game was played at the 45-acre, 9-hole, Par-3 golf course, which is designed by former World Champion Greg Norman (one of the only two designed by the legend in India).

Talking about the tournament, Lodha spokesperson said, “The tournament was a perfect antidote to city life where both the children and the parents enjoyed the sport at the beautiful golf course overlooking the Sahyadris.
