CANCER AWARENESS PROGRAM HELD AT ZEAL EDUCATION SOCIETY NARHE PUNE
On the occasion of completion of successful 20 Years in Educational excellence Zeal Education Society in association with You we Can (Yuvraj Singh Foundation), Zuvius Life Sciences and Heyyo Media organized a Cancer Awareness Program on 16 Dec 2015 at Chhatrapati Shivaji Auditorium in Zeal Campus.
Yuvraj Singh Foundation (You we Can) is a nonprofit organization solely devoted to cancer prevention and early detection. You We Can help the underprivileged who face cancer by providing them proper care and support.
Zuvius Life sciences is a Research based Pharmaceutical Company from India with over a decade of experience in developing new and safe medicines against cancer.
Heyyo Media is an interactive agency which focuses on conceptualizing and executing CSR campaigns to bring about positive change in the lives of the people.
Program started with Lamp Lighting and Saraswati Pujan by the hands of Dr.Dnyanshwar Upase(Hemato Oncologist ,Famous Blood Cancer Superspecialist,DY Patil Medical College ,Pune),Mr. Jay Krishnna (Representative of You we Can),Mr. Swapnil kambale (Marketing Head ,Zuvius Life Sciences),Prof.Jayesh Katkar(Executive Director, Zeal Education Society),Prof.Bharat
Aldar (Incharge Principal ,ZCOER) and Dr.Sachin Chavan(HOD ZCOER MBA Department).
Prof.Yogenderkumar Deokar introduced chief guest of the program Dr.Dnyanshwar Upase in Dr.Dnyanshwar Upase made student aware about the early symptoms and stressed upon early detection in addition to this he explained about the oxygen rich environment and raw foods, He
also told that Junks foods, GM foods and fats are the enemies of human health and inviting cancer.
Mr.Jay Krishnna (Representative of You we Can) shown a video of Yuvraj Singh in which Yuvraj Singh Share his struggle against Cancer.
“You we Can” selected Prof.Rishikaysh Kaakandikar as a Campus Brand Ambassador and “Zuvius life Sciences” selected Prof.Sachin Wadekar as a Campus Brand Ambassador for this Social Cause.
More than 200 students of Zeal Education Society from MBA, MCA, Engineering and Polytechnic participated in the event.
