Case Filed Against Teacher For Alleged Inhumane Treatment Of 3-Year-Old Child In Pune
Kothrud, 26th August 2023: A 40-year-old teacher is facing legal action after allegedly subjecting a 3-year-old child to inhumane treatment, prompting the police to file a case against her.
The incident occurred in the Kothrud area of Pune. The teacher allegedly pulled the child’s hair and pinched her cheek while she was attending a nursery in Kothrud. The complaint lodged by the child’s father with the police details that these incidents transpired between August 18 and August 21. Disturbingly, the teacher reportedly even threatened to harm the child with a candle.
Responding to the complaint filed by the child’s concerned parents, the police have initiated legal proceedings against the teacher. The case has been registered under Section 323 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, as well as Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act, indicating the gravity of the situation.
