Case Registered Against Two Individuals for Submitting Fake Certificates in Pune Rural Police Recruitment Process

Pune, 29th June 2023: The Pune Rural Police Force has registered a case against two individuals who were found to have submitted fake certificates during the police recruitment process.

 

The accused have been identified as Sujit Shivaji Salunkhe (25, a resident of Akole Khurd, taluka Madha, Dist. Solapur), and Sharad Nagnath Mane (26, a resident of Wadoli, taluka Madha, Dist. Solapur.) The complaint was lodged by Police Sub-Inspector Vinayak Dadas-Patil at Chatushringi Police Station.

 

Both Sujit Salunkhe and Sharad Mane participated in the recruitment process for the Pune Rural Police Force. It was revealed that they had presented fraudulent certificates to the Superintendent of Police office, falsely claiming to be project-affected individuals. The certificates were purportedly obtained from the office of the District Rehabilitation Officer in Beed. As a result, the accused have been charged with fraud and forgery.
