Pune: Case Registered Against Young Man For Flying Drone In Lonavala Airforce Area
Lonavala, 14th November 2022: A case under Section 188 has been registered in the Lonavala city police station for flying a drone without a license in the Lonavla Airforce area. The case has been registered against Rahul Balakrishna Badole, a resident of Mumbai, on the complaint filed by Air Force Police Officer Nohammad Arshad Alam. This incident occurred on Sunday (November 14) around 5.00 pm.
Even though Air Force and INS Shivaji are sensitive places in Lonavala, the individual flew the drone in this area without taking any prior permission from the Collector. This action has been taken as it is dangerous from the security point of view.
Earlier, some cases have been registered in this area for flying drones for pre-wedding shooting. Police Naik Shinde is investigating the matter further.
