CBI ARRESTS A SUB INSPECTOR OF DELHI POLICE FOR ACCEPTING BRIBE OF RS.22,000
New Delhi : The Central Bureau of Investigation has today arrested a Sub-Inspector, Pension Cell, Police Station Parliament Street, New Delhi for demanding & accepting a bribe of Rs.22,000/- from the complainant.
A case was registered on a complaint alleging that the Sub-Inspector was demanding a bribe of Rs.22,000/- from the complainant to prepare his Pension/Gratuity. CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red handed while demanding & accepting the bribe of Rs.22,000/- from the complainant. Searches are being conducted at the premises of accused.
The arrested accused will be produced tomorrow before the Competent Court at New Delhi.
