New Delhi, 15th February 2024: As the CBSE examinations for Std X and XII kick off on Thursday, the board has issued a stern warning regarding the proliferation of fake websites, circulation of rumors about potential paper leaks, and claims of unauthorized access to question papers.

In a proactive move, CBSE has released a list of 30 social media handles that illegitimately use the name and logo of the board with the intent to deceive the public. The board has taken immediate action against these handles and has issued a cautionary advisory to students and their parents, urging them to remain vigilant against falling prey to baseless rumors and malpractices.

The examinations for Std X are scheduled to conclude on March 13, while Std XII exams will wrap up on April 2. Notably, the board has introduced a new policy allowing students with Type-1 diabetes to carry insulin pumps and blood glucose monitoring machines into the exam hall for the first time this year.
