Pune Leaders Urge Citizens to Complete Self-Enumeration

Pune, 1st May 2026: The first phase of India’s Census 2027, covering house listing, housing census, and self-enumeration, commenced on May 1 and will continue until May 15, 2026.

Marking the occasion of Maharashtra Day, several prominent dignitaries from the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area participated in the self-enumeration process on the official portal https://se.census.gov.in

Union Minister of State for Cooperation and Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol, Minister of State for Urban Development, Transport, Social Justice, Medical Education, Minority Development and Waqf Madhuri Misal, MLAs Siddharth Shirole, Hemant Rasane, and MLC Yogesh Tilekar were among those who completed their self-enumeration.

Pune Mayor Manjusha Nagpure, Standing Committee Chairman Shrinath Bhimale, along with committee chairpersons and members of the civic body, also took part in the initiative.

Additional Municipal Commissioner (Special) Omprakash Divte and Additional Municipal Commissioner (General) Pavneet Kaur joined the campaign by completing their self-enumeration.

On the occasion, the dignitaries urged citizens of Pune to actively participate in the Census 2027 self-enumeration drive by completing their details within the stipulated timeline.
