Chalta-Bolta Chaha: Get Hot Tea And Coffee At Your Doorstep Within 10 Minutes

Pimpri, December 23, 2020: With the Coronavirus pandemic, some businesses and start-ups saw an opportunity during these trying times and decided to launch new projects. One such business project is Chata-Bolta Chaha.

In a candid interview with the Punekarnews.in, Revan Shinde, one of the masterminds behind the Chalta-Bolta Chaha shared his story.

It all started when a lockdown was imposed due to the widespread prevalence of the COVID-19 in Pune. During the lockdown, many citizens were heavily relying on online deliveries of groceries, food items, essentials and many other things. Soon after, when people resumed going for work, Revan observed that people were not going out for drinking tea during their breaks as they used to do before the pandemic. An idea came to his mind and he immediately thought of starting a business of tea and coffee delivery in Pimpri Chinchwad.

Initially, Revan started delivery of tea and coffee on a trial basis in July. At first, they were delivering tea free-of-cost. As the demand for his tea increased, he launched a full-fledged business and called it “Chalta-Bolta Chaha”.

He said, “As soon as we started delivering chai free-of-cost, people started placing orders and we started getting a good response.”

What started with only two people has now grown to a team of five. Revan said that they have taught their workers the art of making tea and are now planning to expand their business. He said, “With the help of a college student and his team, we are planning to deliver our tea and coffee in Pune and Viman Nagar as well.”

Punekars can now order hot chai and coffee from Chalta-Bolta Chaha by placing their order via phone call. At only Rs 6, you can enjoy a small cup of hot tea and at Rs 10, you can order a large cup of tea. Coffee is priced at Rs 30 per cup. You can place orders from 10 am to 12:30 pm and 3 pm to 6:00 pm.
