05 NOV 2018 , Pune: The trend of Royal Wedding is gaining pace rapidly with new ideas and designs all over India as well as in other countries. People love to dress like their ideal kings and queens in their life’s biggest moments. Till date, Maharashtra’s most important and revered king Shri Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaja’s exact dressing style has not been used yet in any wedding. Keeping this in mind, well known traditional fashion designer Deepak Mane created a unique collection of Shri Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaja- SHIVJATASTA for Indian weddings.

This collection will be exclusively presented in London. Pune citizens are always ahead of time in every field. We can be a trail blazer in the field of fashion too? With this curiosity and wanting to do something new Deepak Mane and his team came up with the idea of recreating Maharaja’s dressing style with contemporary weaving and stitching. Shivjatasta consists of special ornaments, esthetic wear, Mojadis (royal shoes), Pagdi (Royal Turban). London already has Shivaji Maharaja’s sword and Throne. Now, Deepak Mane wants to tell the story of greatness and bravery of Shivaji Maharaja to the whole world through his exclusive collection.

My India Fashion Week Olympia is scheduled in London on Sunday 11 November. Shivaji Maharaj’s dressing style with modern touch with royal jewelry and ornaments will be presented in this fashion week. Presenting Maharaj’s collection on such a big platform will make Deepak Mane the first designer to do so. It took continuous and meticulous study for 2 years to come up with such an elegant collection that will convey the majesty of the great Maratha King. A team of 34 experts and artists visiting 20 to 25 historic forts and met different historians to give the exact look of Maharaja’s dressing style. Deepak Mane’s effort is to provide the traditional fashion lovers with Kings and royal personalities dress, turban (feta, pagdi), ornaments, shoes, chappals etc under one roof. People looking forward for a grand and royal wedding can also find elephant, horse, royal collection, doli and any other finest thing required at Mane’s huge collection.

Deepak Mane said “I am a Maharashtrian and I am proud of it. Taking the story of our greatness and royalty to the international level is the purpose of our Shivjatsta collection. I am confident that people will admire our work and acknowledge the majesty of our King.”
