Check areawise COVID19 positive cases in Pune city

Pune, June 23, 2020: The total number of COVID cases has reached 16,123 in Pune district which includes 12760 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. The PMC has released areawise numbers of Coronavirus positive patients in Pune city.

Dr Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer (DHO) said that yesterday, 352 new patients were reported in the district while 295 patients got discharged from hospitals and 12 people died. Out of total 16,031 patients, 9791 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 604 people have died. There are still 5637 active patients undergoing treatment including 332 critical patients. Most of the patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Till now 135,790 people have been tested in the district.

The 16,031 patients include 12760 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 1927 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 497 from Pune Cantonment, 140 from Khadki Cantonment, 6 from Dehuroad Cantonment and 701 from Pune rural areas. In the Pune rural areas, there are 11 from Baramati town, 15 from Baramati rural, 91 from Daund town, 1 from Jejuri, 16 from Talegaon Dabhade, 8 from Chakan, 11 from Saswad, 2 from Alandi, 3 from Lonavala,1 from Shirur town, 1 from Junnar town, 13 from Indapur town, 2 from Bhor town, 207 from Haveli, 26 from Shirur, 40 from Junnar rural, 45 from Khed, 36 from Mulshi, 33 from Velha, 17 from Bhor, 7 from Indapur rural, 15 from Daund rural, 38 from Maval, 15 from Purandar and 47 from Ambegaon.

Across Maharashtra, there were 3721 new COVID19 cases yesterday taking the total number of cases to 135,796. Also, 62 people died while 1962 got discharged from hospitals after being cured. There are still 61,793 active cases.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 440,215 across the country today. Out of this, 248,189 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 14,011 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 178,014 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
