“Chhaava” Crosses Rs 500 Crore Worldwide; Becomes Highest-Grossing Bollywood Film Of The Year
New Delhi, 26th February 2025: Director Laxman Utekar’s historical drama Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, continues its remarkable box office run, captivating audiences both in India and abroad. The film, which has received widespread acclaim, has now crossed the ₹500 crore mark globally within just 12 days of its release.
While most films witness a dip in earnings after the second weekend, Chhaava remains an exception, maintaining strong collections across domestic and international markets. According to The Box Office Instagram page, the film earned approximately ₹22 crores worldwide on its second Tuesday, pushing its total global earnings to ₹512 crores.
With a production budget of ₹130 crores, the film has amassed ₹512 crores in worldwide collections, including ₹74 crores from overseas markets. On its 11th day, Chhaava had already reached ₹490 crores, and its continued weekday success suggests further milestones ahead.
This achievement marks a career-defining moment for Vicky Kaushal, as Chhaava becomes the first film of his to cross ₹500 crores globally.
