Chief Minister meets Kanker school children : On educational tour to capital

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today met school children from village Kolar  Development Block Antagarh in North Bastar (Kanker) at his official residence. The school children are on an educational tour to the capital. They are studying in Standard ninth to 11th at Kolar Government Higher Secondary School. They are on a two-day tour to the capital. Mr. Vijay Shankar Mehata and Public Relations Department Secretary Mr. Ganesh Shankar Misra were also present. Dr. Raman Singh enquired about the children and asked the children to fix their goals and work with determination. There is no shortcut to success except hard work and labour. He appealed to the children to take inspiration from former President Mr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam and Babasaheb Ambedkar and achieve their dreams. Poverty and life in hinterland should not be obstacles in achieving their goals. The boys and girls from Narayanpur, Dantewada are also being selected in I.I.T., Medical and Deputy Collector posts also.  Dr. Raman Singh instructed the officials to take the kids on a tour to Naya Raipur, Mantralaya, Purkhouti Mukhtangan, Science City and mall.
