Child Goes Missing During Metro Ride, Reunited By Pune Metro Officials With His Family In Less Than 20 Minutes
Pune 7th August 2023: Amid Pune Metro witnessing a good response from commuters after the inauguration of two extended routes, a tragic incident was reported on the metro platform. A child went missing from his parents on the platform number 1 at the Ideal Colony Metro Station.
The Pune Metro officials while reacting swiftly to trace the missing child, connected immidiately to the centralised control room. The family shared the information with concerned officials for help and through centralised control system of the Pune Metro the child was traced and reunited with the family in less than 20 minutes.
The Metro officials have called it a sign of safe travel with the Pune Metro and said that the Metro officials are alert and proactive to help passengers in such situation.
