Wakad, 22nd November 2023: In a shocking incident reported on November 15 at 7:00 PM in Pawar Nagar, Thergaon, a 20-year-old brother has filed a police complaint against his father and relatives for arranging a child marriage for his 12-year-old sister.

The complainant alleges that his 48-year-old father, Vijay Shankar Jadhav, a priest, along with two women and a 23-year-old youth, Keshav Achyut Chavan, orchestrated the marriage. The groom, Keshav Chavan, hails from Solapur district.

The accused father reportedly threatened the young girl during the marriage ceremony, warning her not to disclose the matter to anyone.
