CII Pune Announces Leadership Team for 2023-24: Shujaul Rehman as Chairman and Kiran Acharya as Vice Chairman

Pune, 24th February 2023: Confederation Of Indian Industry (CII) Pune organised its 23rd Annual Meeting today at Hotel Sheraton Grand, Pune
Following the Annual Meeting, the Council announced Shujaul Rehman, Chief Executive Officer, Garware Technical Fibres Ltd as the Chairman of CII Pune Zonal Council for the year 2023-24.
Shuajul Rehman is an MBA from Faculty of Management & Research – AMU, Aligarh. Mr Shujaul is an Alumni of Harvard Business School & Graduate of H.B.S’s Advanced Management Program.
With a keen focus on customer centricity, seamless execution, and an innate ability to gauge future trends and consumer requirements. He has worked in various capacities in Cadbury, Marico Industries and CEAT
Kiran Acharya, Managing Director & CFO, Sandvik Coromant India Pvt Ltd has been nominated as the Vice Chairman of CII Pune Zonal Council for the year 2023-24.
Kiran Acharya has completed his CA, CS and LL.B & is carrying 35 years of enriching Local & International experience in the field of Finance, Tax, Compliance, Audit, Secretarial and Legal.
Acharya, in his 20 years of working experience with Sandvik, has held various positions locally and globally including international taxation and transfer price besides controller, CFO. He has also handled M&A and Corporate restructuring and multiple local & global projects. Prior to rejoining Sandvik in 2019, he has worked as Global CFO for Sigma Electric.
