City-based, Sigmapeiron AssistD declared as a best Startup at Pune Connect 2019

Pune, December 29, 2019: Sigmapeiron AssistD, a Pune-based Startup was declared a winner at the at the 8th edition ‘Pune Connect 2019’ organized by the Software Exporters’ Association of Pune (SEAP) recently.

Sigmapeiron AssistD, which stood out as a best start-up enterprise at the event provides in real time workplace management service to corporates, housing societies, hospitals or hotels. It has contextual QR codes that an employee can use to make a request to the facility manager. It can be used to solve day-to-day management problems at the workplace like requesting the facility manager to replace toilet papers in the toilet by simply scanning the QR code etc. AssistD is operational in 62 cities in more at least 100 companies.

Members of SEAP including Abhijit Atre, Chairman of Pune Connect, Ashwin Megha, President, Vidyadhar Purandare, Vice President and Swapnil Deshpande, Program Director, Pune Connect 2019 among others were present at the event.

With the central theme being ‘Future in the Connected World’, Pune Connect this year received 75 entries of Startups of which 34 were shortlisted and five finalists made their presentations, out of which final 3 were awarded at the hands of famous percussionist, Taufiq Qureshi. Gireendra Kasmalkar of Alacrity, Rajshree Rao, Head of Partnership Engagement, Rolls Royce and Shridhar Shukla, Founder, kPoint Technologies served as juries for this competition.

Accordingly, Tree Innovation Foundation, which has developed a gadget Neer Chakra that helps individuals in villages carry water to their homes was declared as a first runner-up. While All Miles by Pitasys Software Pvt Ltd that provides a shared mobility solution to companies was declared the second runner-up. The firm which operates in Pune, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Goa provide last mile connectivity from home to Metro and Metro to the office.

The association this year also introduced Corporate Awards to recognize the companies, which are working in the fields of innovation, industry academia, diversity and inclusion. The winners of the Corporate Awards included Synechron for the best innovation and intrapreneurship strategy, Xpanxion for the best industry and academia connect and ThoughtWorks for best diversity and inclusion strategy.
