City Sports Experts meet visiting British Students
Pune, April 11, 2023: Students from Leeds Beckett University, UK currently in city, hosted by ISMS college Pune, visited the famous PDMBA complex for sessions with Sports Experts from the city in Administration, Physiotheraphy and Sports Medicine.
The students from Britain are in the city for their Summer School and international exposure trip interacted with CA Ranjeet Natu, Secretary PDMBA and discussed the development of Badminton in India and Maharshtra, they also interacted with renowned physiotherapist Dr. Prasanna Pathak and learnt about various developments taking place in physiotherapy & how the new technologies are helping Indian Sports.
Later in afternoon Dr. Ajit Mapari founder Fit2Sport visited ISMS Campus who educated students & briefed them on preparing & supporting athletes at various levels. He specially mentioned that injuries while playing are common but the efforts done during non playing time are much more important as It prepared the players to perform to their potential hence regular check ups are more valuable. During the interaction he also cleared various doubts about sports medicine and rehabilitation practices in the two countries.The British students were thrilled to know the work being done in sports medicine & helping Indian sports in a scientific manner.
