Cleanliness Drive organised at GCW Gandhi Nagar
JAMMU, FEBRUARY 13 – Department of Botany, Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar organized a cleanliness drive under the aegis of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan here today.
In order to make the campus clean and green, the students and staff of Botany Department cleaned the Department, Botanical garden and adjoining area. The students painted the pots, whitewashed the stones, watered the plants and planted the saplings in the garden.
Principal GCW Gandhi Nagar, Dr. Kiran Bakshi, who was chief guest on the occasion, appreciated the efforts of staff and students to make the campus clean and green.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Prof. Renu Sehgal, Prof. Surender Sharma, Prof. Uppal besides all staff members of Botany Department.
