Cloudy Weather Brings Temperature Fluctuations In Pune; IMD Predicts Cloudy Weather For Next Four Days

Pune, 13th January 2025: The city witnessed cloudy skies throughout the day, bringing a noticeable chill in the air. Over the past 48 hours, significant fluctuations in temperatures have been observed. The minimum temperature in Haveli taluka rose by 1°C-2°C, reaching 13.6°C on Sunday, while Shivajinagar recorded a minimum of 15.5°C.
The weather in Pune and its surrounding districts has alternated between cold and cloudy over the last week. During this period, the minimum temperature dipped to 9°C only on a few occasions, resulting in the absence of the typical chilling cold.
Certain areas like NDA, Pashan, Aundh, Warje, Kothrud, and Shivajinagar reported a slight drop in temperatures, while other regions experienced milder conditions. Over the last 24 hours, a decrease of 1°C-3°C in the minimum temperature was noted, with values rising from 10°C to 13°C, and the maximum temperature reaching 20°C.
Despite the mild increase, the cloudy weather throughout the day maintained a sense of coolness in some localities. The Pune Division of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dry conditions and clear skies, with cloudy weather anticipated in the afternoons for the next four days.
