Clyde and Skyler Shine Bright in St. Vincent’s Junior League Hockey Week 2
Pune, 20th January 2025: St Vincent’s H.S lad Clyde Andrew and Skyler Susainathan (Loyola H.S ‘B’ stood tall for their respective teams’ in Week-2 of the hockey event of the St. Vincent’s Junior League 2024-25.
At the St. Vincent’s ground, on last week, Clyde logged the first hat-trick of the tournament on a day he scored eight goals in two matches. Meanwhile, Skyler impressed with 11 goals from two matches.
The day had hosts St. Vincent’s H.S ‘A’ (2 wins) and ‘B’ (1 win), Loyola H.S ‘A’ (1 win) & ‘B’ (2 wins) and St. Patricks H.S ‘A’ (2 win) dominate proceedings. All three teams completed an “all-win day” barring St. Patrick’s ‘A’ who upset Loyola ‘A’ 3-0.
The day, had 48 goals scored in eight matches, began with St Vincent’s ‘A’ downing Ornellas H.S 3-0 after Clyde Andrew (2 goals) and Aaren Silva netted, St. Vincent’s ‘A then put aside first-timers Dastur Co-Ed 11-0, which included the six-goal feat by Clyde Andrew. Shardul Kamble (3), Zohan Shaikh and Saarth Sethiya added to close the tally.
Loyola ‘B’ impressed via Skyler Susainathan (6 goals) winning against Dastur 11-0. Sairaj Shinde and Mark Das (2 each) and Rajveer Shinde completed the tally. Later, Loyola ‘A’ completed a 7-0 win over Ornellas H.S with Skyler Susainathan (5), Rajveer Shinde and Sairaj Shinde scoring.
During the day, Loyola ‘A’ won 6-1 over St. Patricks ‘B’ after Aahil Pathan (4), Shourya Moze and Amey Garod netted. For St. Patricks Joel Patekar reduced the margin.
In other fixtures, St. Patrick’s ‘A’ beat St. Vincent’s ‘B’ 4-1. Shourya Menge (3) and Austin Francis scored for St. Patricks. Atharva Borate scored for the losers.

St. Patricks ‘A’ pushed aside Loyola ‘A’ 3-0 after Shourya Menge, Arnan Malkapulkar, Pranav Ahir netted a goal each.
The chief guest for the day was Bappusaheb Bhosale, Founder President, Dalit Panther Of India and Ambassador for United Nations for Free Tibet.
