06 Aug 2019 : CM Devendra Fadnavis reviewed flood situation with Chief Secretary, Disaster Management Department, various Districts’ administration from Yavatmal.
State Government moving 6 teams with Navy boats to Kolhapur by air.
For Sangli 4 FRP boats of NDRF are being moved from pune, also NDRF has rescued 2 pregnant ladies in Sangli and 1 pregnant lady in Kolhapur ,
NDRF team has rescued about 300 people in Walva, Shirgaon, Nandre, kasbe digris in Sangli district.
One New born baby with his family members in this boat, Kolhapur rescue operations by NDRF teams.
Panchganga is flowing above danger level. 6 villages from Shirol, from Hatkanangle, Chikhali, Ambewadi area & Kolhapur city affected. #NDRF teams are coordinating rescue operations & more teams are on their way.
CM also spoke to Karnataka CM & requested on Almatti discharge. He assured of positive actions.
Air Force helicopters to reach soon. Almost 1500 families evacuated so far and administration is taking care of the situation. In Sangli 1 NDRF team is deployed and another on way.
CM Fadnavis in continuous touch with CS, all these agencies & situation is under control.
