Coronavirus cases increase to 181 in Maharashtra, 873 across country
Pune, March 28, 2020: After 28 new cases of corona positive in the state on Friday, the number of corona patients in Maharashtra has increased to 181. At the same time, after the death of a 65-year-old corona patien, the death toll has increased to five.
On Friday, the number of patients in the state increased so much, including 15 families from Sangli and four from Nagpur. Apart from this, two positives each were found in Mumbai and Thane and one each in Kolhapur, Gondia, Palghar and Pune. After January 18, about 3,493 people have been admitted in the state due to fever, cold, cough symptoms. Out of which 3059 people were found corona negative while 181 were found positive. Of the patients found corona positive, 24 patients have recovered.
873 Corona positive cases across India
The number of people infected with Coronavirus has started increasing rapidly in the country. In the last 24 hours, 149 new cases of Coronavirus have been reported in the country.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the number of infected has crossed 800 across the country. The total number of Coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 873.
According to the Health Ministry data as of 9.30 am today, there are currently 775 active cases in the country. At the same time 78 people have recovered after treatment in hospital. The death toll from the Corana is currently 19 in the country.
According to the Ministry of Health, Maharashtra has the highest number of corona virus patients with 181 cases till 9.30 am, while Kerala ranks second in the list with 173 confirmed cases. However, Maharashtra and Kerala have 24 and 11 patients respectively who have been cured.
Corona havoc in 27 states of the country
The havoc of coronavirus has reached 27 states of the country. A total of 873 patients have appeared in 27 states of the country so far. Of these 826 patients are from India and 47 patients are foreigners. At the same time 78 people have been discharged from the hospital. So far 19 people have died in the country from Corona.
Death toll reached 19 in the country
The death toll due to Coronavirus in the country has reached 19. Maharashtra has the highest number of deaths at 5, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health. After this, 3 people have died in Gujarat. While 2-2 people have died in Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh, one patient each has died in Delhi, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal.
