Coronavirus Vaccine Supply: More than 100 flights will fly in 41 cities of the country supplying Corona vaccine

New Delhi, January 6, 2021: The Chief Operating Officer of Airport Authority of India Cargo Logistics and Allied Service Company, Indore, Selvakumar said that from January 6 to January 8, Corona vaccine will be supplied in the country. More than 100 cargo flights will deliver 20 million doses of Corona vaccine to 41 cities in the country.

 

A total of 9 lakh corona vaccine doses will arrive in Madhya Pradesh. This includes 2.52 lakhs for Indore, 1.89 lakhs for Bhopal, 2.67 lakhs for Jabalpur and 1.92 lakhs for Gwalior. A flight will bring 1800 kg of medicine. The process of coming to the state will start from January 8.

 

An official said that the flight corona will carry the vaccine to major cities, then from there to the vaccination centers, it will be delivered in a cold storage truck. In the first phase, such a plan has been made to distribute the vaccine, so that it can reach more and more places.

 

He said that the flights go from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and other areas of the country including Jharkhand, so there will be no problem in its delivery. We have talked to different district administrations, they will use trucks with cold storage to carry the vaccine. The vaccine is to be administered to people within 24 hours. Complete preparation has been done for this.
