Vadgaon, 11th March 2025: A shocking incident unfolded in Vadgaon, Pune, where a couple was brutally attacked with a Koyta by three men after they questioned one of them for urinating in public. The assailants, claiming to be associates of a local gangster known as “AD Bhai,” assaulted the woman on her head and hand while restraining her husband. A case of attempted murder has been registered against the attackers.

According to the police complaint filed by a 37-year-old woman from Dhayari, she and her husband were returning home from work on their two-wheeler when they stopped near a local administrative office to rest. Around 8 pm, three men arrived on a motorcycle, and one of them began urinating nearby. The husband confronted the man, asking him not to do so in front of women. This led to a heated argument, during which the suspect started hurling abuses.

As tensions escalated, one of the men pulled out a Koyta and slashed the woman’s hand before striking her on the head. When her husband intervened, another attacker restrained him and declared, “This area belongs to our Bhai. We will urinate wherever we want. Let’s see who dares to stop us.” The group then attacked the husband with the Koyta.

As bystanders gathered at the scene, the attackers fled. Police were alerted and promptly arrived at the spot. A formal complaint has been registered, and an investigation is underway to track down the suspects.
